British label @burberry is on track to become the first major luxury fashion house to release a line of reusable face masks.
Made from excess material, 20% of sales of each mask will be donated to the Burberry Foundation Covid-19 Community Fund. The organisation was set up in April and provides PPE and assistance to food banks and healthcare charities around the world.
The brand also temporarily converted its trench coat factory in Castleford, Yorkshire, to manufacture non-surgical gowns and masks for patients in the U.K.
