Stella McCartney graduated from London’s prestigious fashion academy Central Saint Martin in 1995 and launched her own fashion house in collaboration with the Gucci group in 2001. In 2018, Stella bought out the other shareholder to become the sole owner. Stella McCartney now operates 51 freestanding stores across the world. Her collections are also stocked in specialty boutiques and available online.
For the London Olympics in 2012, adidas appointed Stella McCartney as the Team GB’s Creative Director across all competitions for both the Olympics and the Paralympics.
