Brand/Designer Info:

Louis Vuitton was founded in Paris in 1854 by Louis Vuitton who was originally a maker of travel trunks. At the time rounded top travel trunks were used, to help with water run off, but rounded trunks could not be stacked. Louis Vuitton introduced flat topped trunks made with canvas, making them airtight, light weight, stackable, and very popular. This was the beginning of the Louis Vuitton luxury heritage brand which continues to this day.

In 1896, Louis Vuitton launched the signature Monogram Canvas and made worldwide patents on their graphic symbols, including the LV monogram. The Louis Vuitton monogram depicts a Japanese inspired flower motif, which was created to prevent counterfeiting. Louis Vuitton continues to be one of the most iconic, luxury, and recognised brands in the world, desired by all generations and genders.
